Custom Tooled Leather Sheath

This a pancake style sheath that has designs stamped on outside face of the sheath. This sheath is made of 8-9 oz leather to stand up to the tooling that is going to be done to it. There are a couple different basket weave designs that can be stamped on the outside. I use a hand saddle stich for the stitching on these sheaths. This way each stitch is like having two stitches. If one side happened to get damage while being worn, the sheath would not come apart. I also use a waxed thread that when pulled tight helps to resist the thread backing out or coming loose.

This sheath also has a versatile belt loop on the backside that can be vertically or horizontally.
