Handle Buddy

Handle Buddy

I do a bottle shaped handle on almost all of my knives.  One of the things that I struggled with was matching the thickness at the front of the handle on both sides.

That is when I came up with the idea for the handle buddy!  It comes in 5 thicknesses that are 3D printed.  The thicknesses are 0.2″, 0.225″, 0.25″, 0.275″, and 0.3″.  I use the handle buddy to mark front radius of my handle as well as the thickness.  This made doing batches of blades so much easier.

The angle around the outside is 30° and matches to many other angles to get up close to the  handle.

Hope it is as helpful for you as it has been for me!
