Chef's Knife

The chef’s knife is a western style all-purpose knife. Most professional chefs say they can do 90% of kitchen tasks with this style of knife.  It has a pointed tip for cutting joints and finer detail work.  This knife uses more of a rocking motion for cutting and chopping.  This knife has a flat section at the rear of the blade that can be used in a chopping motion and a curved section that comes to a point.  This is one of my favorite go to knives when I need to cut up a variety of different things at one time.  This knife comes in a three different lengths 6” (150mm) / 8” (200mm) / 10” (250mm) to accommodate a lot of different jobs in the kitchen.

Handle Design

First and foremost, I designed the handles of my kitchen knives to be extremely comfortable in your hand.  The handles have a hourglass shape that fits the palm of your hand very well.  When chopping for hours, your hand will not be as fatigued as it would be with non contoured knives.

Filework

Filework is a design that is cut into the spine of the knife and filled in with epoxy.  This does not effect the performance of the knife, but is a very unique design element you don’t see on most knives.
